Michael Jackson (1958-2009)

A lot of people have blogged about the death of our very own King of Pop.
Well, so I won't blog about how he died and how much he has contribute to the entertainment world..

But I would just like to share with you the lesson that we can learn from his life..

Last time, whenever we heard MJ, we would laugh and joke about him and about his plastic surgery n all..

There's even a joke where this kid ask his mum,
Boy : Mum, is God a man or woman??
Mum : Nope.. God is not man nor woman..
Boy : Hmm.. then is God black or white??
Mum : Son, God is not black nor white either..
Boy : Then is God Michael Jackson?!?

Lets look at the lyrics of the song 'Black or White' that he sang

It don't matter if you're
Black or white.

and

See, it's not about races
Just places
Faces
Where your blood
Comes from
Is where your space is
I've seen the bright
Get duller
I'm not going to spend
My life being a color

He said it doesn't matter, but why did it end up affecting himm?

Usually most people always see white as pure..
When I say angel, what colour would you imagine an angel to be?! White, rite?.. And when I say Evil, as in bad.. you would straight away imagine Black.. Now, who ever told you that white is pure and black is evil?! =.=

The lesson to learn from the life of MJ is, we gotta accept who we really are..
Do not change or try to be somebody else..
Cos you're only cheating yourself.
Just be yourself and stay the same..

There's a quote i found...

Don't change..
unless you're changing for the better..

A long one

last saturday
whole day out.. freakin tired.
started with the hari koperasi day in schl.

i had to be there around 8am with ice-bags!
well, it went on okay..
heard you guys made a profit!
hahaha..

so there we were running up and down the school looking for electricity to plug in the ice cream box..
some of our hands got srsly injured while carrying it =(
so after all that, we sold ice-creams and rootbeer floats.

Ice-creams: first idea was to eat up one of each type of ice-cream. Then use the plastic cover as a menu to walk around and sell.
It didnt do very well as many ppl thought we were selling the plastics. So we diverted to the original plan.

Rootbeer: the cups! we were doing so good till we ran out of cups! but we still managed after that somehow with some help.

then after tht we went cs saw transformers.
man, it felt really good watching it for the 2nd time..
haha.

the movie was.. much better than the first one.
a lot more action and comedy.
lol.
and they say they're having a sequel to this then?

okay well that's it.
FOA's coming up..
*sketch sketch sketch*

BYEBYE holss..

I know i'm late..
I've abandoned my blog for a very long time.

So.. my holidays, how did it go?

It was either boring, exciting, meaningful, tiring and fun.

You pick :)

Argh!
It's ended.
Yesterday was its last.

So, first day of school?
It was certainly NOT as i expected it to be :S
With teachers running here and there, too lazy to enter class..
Students grumbling the end of the holidays..
And me groaning with my massive unexpected fever -,-

HAHAHHAHA.. what a day, uh? This day out of all..

Anyways,
I watched 17again! Haha, the typical Zac Efron. Honestly, the movie was funny & kind of nice, but it wouldn't have been the same if he didn't act in it.

Okay, I'll post again sometime when I find something else to post about =)

Oh no.. the holidays! 2 weeks flew, like I expected.
And now it's back to that dreadful sight of the building(s) which is currently officially 'kluster-ified'
See what differences it makes.

So now its time to say goodbye. Bye. And see you. To August.

Quickie

1 week of the holidays.
much has happened.

Angels and Demons was a pretty nice movie. Compared to the sequel The Da Vinci Code, which was catastrophical, this was more on action/storyline.
They had srsly changed a LOT of the storyline.. based on the book.
but i enjoyyed it.

btw, i'm currently in sabah now..
wud only be coming back tmrw.
it has been quite eventful so far, not to mention experiencing a life n death situation.
HHAHAHAHHA
we were like going island hopping.. and we arrived at this Manukan Island.
They had parasailing there, so i said why not?
Unfortunately, while in mid air the boat pulling us ran out of fuel.
so me and my aunt dropped 40 feet into the South China sea!!
It was rather horrifying as i still have glimpses of the trauma.
luckily those bodyguards on-board swam to us and brought us back.

I was only worried if the huge parachute wouldn't sink in the water and pull us in!
But overall, i'm still alive =)
hahaha.

apart frm that, everything's been okay..
just the ever-consuming parasitic emotion, *Boredom* pops in from time to time.

Goodbye.

Although its a bit later, you wouldn't get the damn results back before the holidays.

I need 2 more marks for sejarah!! damnit 78%
haizh.

the movie was 'okay' as i slept through half of the movie.

America ain't Heartless..

And just a few weeks ago, we were all going: Kris? Oh...that guy...

The whole season i was watching, and this was one that i never saw coming.

Kris Allen, got crowned as the 'American Idol' for Season 8.

Adam, on the other hand.. was the judge's favorite and expected from many, to win.

Adam Lambert was unlike any other contestant seen on Idol before.
Confident, stylish, theatrical (dramatic at times), great performer and had a great voice. Adam seemed like the most complete package.

As the season went on,he continues giving week after week of good performances (but Ring of Fire was my favorite.. xD).
In fact, his performance of Mad World also received a standing ovation frm Simon, something he usually does only for the winner.

In fact, Kris wasn't even expected to make top13..
Third place Danny Gokey had a great voice, and an inspirational story as well.
Many had expected a Danny-Adam finale.
Maybe now we know where all the Gokey-votes went to for the finals.

Top-3 week!
All i could remember was when Kris took to the stage, singing Kanye West's Heartless.
His acoustic version of the song blew away the judges, the American public and anyone who watched American Idol (myself included).

Then came the long-awaited finals....
it was rather interesting ... with all the oldies coming back like Lionel Richie, Cindy Lauper.. *Steve Martin*.
It was kinda like Night In The Museum 3 =)

hahahha..

Kris Ain't No Sunshine was once again superb,
which made Simon to call the round for Kris even after Adam had done an encore of Mad World.. which i found over-dramatic.
But Adam's strength came finally came true in the end, singing the winner's single, No Boundaries.
It seemed kinda more suited for Adam.

But in the end, Kris won.
Adam might have deserved it (to be honest, in my opinion he did).

But Kris is a very good alternative as well.
I like his originality and his ability to change up the most unlikely of songs into his own version and make it sound damn good. Both were great singers, n both would have had good careers in the future. But in the end, Kris came from behind.. came into his own (especially with Heartless), and like most underdog stories, came out as the champion :D

btw, the finals i supported the both of them =)
but Kris' win was unpredictable.

1-2-3-4

haih..

will post more abt it later.

***

UPDATE>.

TMRW!! FINALS!

that was fast, the whoole season's grand finale of AI is finally here.

the most awaited..
but most shocking performance frm kris allen's "heartless" made him cut danny and into the finals! xD

man, i gotta admit... he sang it better than the original :D

adam's there too.. as expected.

it would definitely make history if kris wins tomorrow..

***

Finally they caught up to it.
The 18th win ties them with us..

It'll be all up to next season then :)

We're coming to get you, Man-U.

Next up ...

STAR TREK!
Watched it twice already.. and planning for a third ;)

I didn't realize a prequel would be so amazingly done.
Can't wait for the next.

P.S Sylar was great xD

Right.
Supposed to be in front of a book now.

Btw, one of my fav songs on radio is 1-2-3-4 by the Plain White T's.
Its nice, quite simple, but sweet and quite meaningful actually..

There's only one thing,
To do, Three words,
For you...

Updating my Life...

Yes, the work has showed up..
and its started to pile up.

Anyway, i know i haven't been able to blog lately. All the times i wished to write a post appeared to be the wrong ones.

••••••

Liverpool's title hopes are as good as over. Too many draws!! and terrible defeat to Middlesbrough..
I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. Man-U were always favourites, almost everywhere.. even after getting beaten 4-1 at Old Trafford.
The game in hand afforded them the breathing space they needed..

United would hav to lose twice for Liverpool to have hope. In the end, I don't think that is going to happen.

Oh well, there's always next year..
Man-U will match Liverpool's record of 18 titles this year, but with a couple of good signings, I'll be hoping that Liverpool can stop them from breaking the record next year.

*******

IDOL!! Anoop's gone. He was a pretty good singer. But at least he made it that far.
Two years ago, another underdog, Sanjaya was also eliminated in the top 7.. coincidence much?
But what's done is done... and I'm gonna miss the 'noop brown dawg'.
And it's still Lambert to the max!

There's something srsly unique about that guy, Adam. Though many bloggers and people may call him gay or something... he has originality, unlike the others.
Every week is different, so i look forward to his performances.
He might just win the whole darn thing for all i know.

******

Man, if I could see the future .. I sure would change it to the way I want it to be.
Today the st. johners of ec went to duty in ssi for some crappy kadet police competition thing.

me, isaac, kevin, tong, syafiq and jeremy.
Going there, clueless of what was gonna happen.
But it struck when it all started. More than two whole hours of under the fireball..
And the best part..

As we stood there.. well we didn't actually just stand there. Practically every 5 minutes there were at least a person fainting or something due to the heat.

Almost 30 ppl man!
never expected that.
Yes, it was tiring.

*****

I've found a new way to procrastinate spend my time...

Geo Challenge on Facebook.

its fun.
There's 4 parts to the game which tests ur geographical knowledge. Recognizing flags, countries, cities, as well as landmarks.

try it.

okay.. that's it for now.
I got my computer back btw, but the internet is still down.
It will hopefully take a few more days..

Till then..

disrupted ..

ahhh ...
the noise..
correction.. *sound*
parts of my school are being teared down each day.
the dewan, the basketball court, the Den!!, the jungles... our B.O.O (Base Of Operation).
all gone.. demolished!
in some "project" the school is doing to make some new so-called high-class 4 million dollar dewan.
haha.
and as said about the noise next to my class, it's a rock concert!
all local artistes... tractors & chainsaws..
some of us just turn our chairs towards the window and stare at the construction/destruction... even the teachers have to stop awhile until the sound is gone.

anyways, Liverpool lost to Chelsea 1-3
i was glad i didnt and had forgot to see the match.
I mean.. the Reds were like so confident on winning.. what happened?
and ManU played a lucky game and struggled to get a last-minute 3-2 win over Villa.
well i guess the tables are turning around already..

I'm a god-brother!!
hahha... precisely at 3.31pm this afternooon my aunt gave birth and there came another cousin...
wow.. :D

btw,
my comp got sent to repair yesterday..
it seems the internet card had apparently got corrupted..
i went to the shop.. the shopguy ask how it happen, cause new computer ..
the me n my dad were like .... "dunno .. it just happened.."
erasing the fact that it got strucked by lightning.
because we weren't sure whether the warranty covered for electric shocks..

=.=

victory...

wow..
it's been long since i updated..
its just that my internet had broke down for a whole week..
and after that i had just no mood for posting..
haha!

So ... March went pretty well ..
also fast .. but it was better.

April fool's was weird in my school, because it was the first day of my exam. Everybody was like tense studying and others were like pranking people ... including teachers xD.

*******

and so.. moving on..

exams have FINALLY finished!

and i feel really good cause i know i studied..so whatever results wont make me feel bad..at least not THAT bad..so anyway..now its the time to RELAX!
hopefully more posting too..

*******

did you guys observe Earth Hour?

hopefully that little act could help somehow in reducing the effects of global warming and conserving energy..
lolx.

*******

x
Liverpool won Man U. 4-1
Believe it or not. Believe it.
OH YEAHH.
WE'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!!!
face that Man-u!!
upcoming Liverpool vs Fulham
This time they would probably win them 2-0 rather than losing to them like Man-U did..

*******

oh and btw, our school won the drama competition!!
you rock guys!!
it was definitely the best ... so you guys deserve it.. =D

ok thats it for now...
cyou guys then =)

Marching on...

We're in March. Yes, just like that 2 months of 2009 has already passed.

Incredible.

So let's see..

Liverpool are out of it. Sadly :( They got closer this year, but not quite close enough. With that 2-0 loss to Midsbro, they're now 7 points behind Manchester United having played a game more. If United win that game in hand, its gonna be 10 points. Nooo!!

Rafa still hasn't signed his contract.
With just the Champions League left, it might be another season of empty-handedness. I wonder if the end of the season will see a change of manager.
We got closer to the league title this year, actually very close, but still it wasn't good enough.

Oh well, looks like we'll have to wait another year at least. Someone else had better win next year. If Manchester United do win, which is looking increasingly likely, they tie Liverpool's record of 18 league titles. I really do hope that next season Liverpool would prevent them from getting number 19.

You'll Never Walk Alone :)

*****

Moving on to the Oscars,
would somebody please tell me..

Why the critically acclaimed and loved, Oscar Best Picture winning movie, Slumdog Millionaire, isn't going to be shown in cinemas here in J.B.?

It is kind of ridiculous. Slumdog won 8 Oscars. 8 Oscars!!
It is a movie which has won the attention of critics and fans alike.
Yet, they don't see fit to release it in cinemas here, despite the fact that it is showing in KL and Penang already.
Come on, this is JB, not some kampung.

Other awards, Heath Ledger! I'm glad he won Best Supporting Actor. Joker is still a performance which I remember, almost a year after I watched The Dark Knight.
Its still sad to think of how someone so talented could die so young.

*****

'Derita Gaza'
Honestly, i didn't know what was the whole thing about until we were a few seconds from entering the auditorium ..
and i saw people showing and waving around their tickets.

It was..
too long? i guess. But the acting and screenplay all were good.
haha.
Honestly, i was like so anxious for it to end.
Come on, the whole play had at about 8 to 9 songs, at least.
Driving me mad.
So, me, pavanjit and isaac concentrated on other things.
Things that i shouldn't quite say :)

Well, thats it for now.
Hopefully March wouldn't go on as fast as the past 2 months.

blurrrr..

exam's!
over!
woohooo!

finally, i've been waiting for the exams to end since a long long time ago.
While having a list of things i would do after the ujian formatif 1.
Because whenever i'm told to do something, i always use the excuse "exams".
always procastinate everything after exams.
now that it's over, it all starts.

Drama auditions are next week!
and we haven't even got the script right. I seriously don't know what's gonna happen on that day when all of the other teams are better, and we just stand there on stage looking blurr**.

so last night i went online finding for short plays/dramas (lame, i know)
found a few.. but they were like freakin long even though in 'short-plays' category.
hahahhaha.
i have stage frights.
everytime i go up,
i hope that something would happen.. like:
-the stage would just open up and suck me into it.
-everyone had to go off somewhere else and not stare at me.
-something fell from the sky and hit me.
anything! to get out from stages..
haha,.

tomorrow...
long long day.
in a slight dilemma now..
as like the st. john training and the futsal comp are on the same time.
so me n my friends went ask the guy in-charge for the comp.

me: "you know the futsal competition right, if the substitute isn't there while the team playing ... boleh ah?"
senior: (thinks for a long time.. probably didn't quite understnd my Q) "yes. can."
me: "thank youu!" (runs off to class)

but i paid 7 ringgits.
just for a certificate?
and if i don't play,
i would be getting the cert as if i bought it.. not by actually participating.
i suck at futsal btw, just want the cert.
after that, at night we have some LDDS drama thing happening in jothic.
hv to go. HAHAHHAHA

the piles of homework are starting to kick in already.
better finish before they overload.

Randomness

valentine's day ...
some would say it's the worst day of the year..
while other's consider it friendship day.
what is it actually?
valentine's day ... xP =)

our school had sports day on the 12th btw.
for me, st. john was the best there.
though they didn't win.
are those fellas there blind or something?
or are they just bias?
their hands were uniformed, the timing perfect.
the command excellent, the adaption outstanding.
what was the problem?
they were actually the best.
but all these don't matter now, not now when they lost.

as for us form 2's
we were asked to go on duty..
under that hot, stubborn sun.
to keep a lookout for those people who need first aid there.
sure enough.. there were a few cases where they had sprains and such.
they were also many fakers along the way..
but we didn't give a damn.

anyways,
moving on to chess..
i didn't make it thru MSSJ.
haha =)
only won 5 games out of 7.
had to win 6!

well squash was most fun.
i technically took part in the squash tourney
which was held frm the 13th to 15th.
but i only went and played for the first day.
as i came back with my hand full of air bubbles and blisters.
cause = unknown.
maybe an infection.
or not.
lol :P

Till next time =)

A 'Heartbeat' of History

"My fellow citizens:

I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.

Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because we the people have remained faithful to the ideals of our forebears, and true to our founding documents.

So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans.

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land — a nagging fear that America's decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America — they will be met.

On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord.

On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics.

We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.

In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of shortcuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted — for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things — some celebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labor, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity and freedom.

For us, they packed up their few worldly possessions and traveled across oceans in search of a new life.

For us, they toiled in sweatshops and settled the West; endured the lash of the whip and plowed the hard earth.

For us, they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sanh.

Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed and worked till their hands were raw so that we might live a better life. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions; greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction.

This is the journey we continue today. We remain the most prosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no less productive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week or last month or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions — that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act — not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. All this we will do.

Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions — who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their memories are short. For they have forgotten what this country has already done; what free men and women can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage.

What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them — that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works — whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. Those of us who manage the public's dollars will be held to account — to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day — because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force for good or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control — and that a nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous. The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our gross domestic product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on our ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart — not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good.

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our founding fathers ... our founding fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience's sake. And so to all the other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort — even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.

For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus — and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.

To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society's ills on the West — know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.

To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to the suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world's resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it.

As we consider the road that unfolds before us, we remember with humble gratitude those brave Americans who, at this very hour, patrol far-off deserts and distant mountains. They have something to tell us, just as the fallen heroes who lie in Arlington whisper through the ages. We honor them not only because they are guardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit of service; a willingness to find meaning in something greater than themselves. And yet, at this moment — a moment that will define a generation — it is precisely this spirit that must inhabit us all.

For as much as government can do and must do, it is ultimately the faith and determination of the American people upon which this nation relies. It is the kindness to take in a stranger when the levees break, the selflessness of workers who would rather cut their hours than see a friend lose their job which sees us through our darkest hours. It is the firefighter's courage to storm a stairway filled with smoke, but also a parent's willingness to nurture a child, that finally decides our fate.

Our challenges may be new. The instruments with which we meet them may be new. But those values upon which our success depends — hard work and honesty, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism — these things are old. These things are true. They have been the quiet force of progress throughout our history. What is demanded then is a return to these truths. What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility — a recognition, on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to a difficult task.

This is the price and the promise of citizenship.

This is the source of our confidence — the knowledge that God calls on us to shape an uncertain destiny.

This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed — why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent Mall, and why a man whose father less than sixty years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath.

So let us mark this day with remembrance, of who we are and how far we have traveled. In the year of America's birth, in the coldest of months, a small band of patriots huddled by dying campfires on the shores of an icy river. The capital was abandoned. The enemy was advancing. The snow was stained with blood. At a moment when the outcome of our revolution was most in doubt, the father of our nation ordered these words be read to the people:

"Let it be told to the future world ... that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive...that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet (it)."

America, in the face of our common dangers, in this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words. With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come. Let it be said by our children's children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God's grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations.

Thank you. God bless you. And God bless the United States of America."

Okay.
That ends the super-duper long speech by Obama at his inauguration ceremony on the 20th of January.
I just thought I would put it here cos this impacted me a lot.
Go USA!

Titleless

"I will treasure the things of you did for me, the warm feeling which manifest from the core of the heart... Like an angle spreading hope, I felt kindness and gentleness in a sprinkle of love.

This crowded place stops people full of secrets.... The roads are simple too narrow for us to retrect back into the story... The gap between the seats in the cinema is forever, alone in this fortress of loneliness I don't know what to do. Srsly.. No more..

How can I fall asleep withour seeing your smile? You are so near yet I can't bring myself to give you a hug, your hand is just beside mine yet I simply couldn't grab it. Closing my eyes your image burst into my mind, I hope it won't be long for me to find it.

No matter how playful I am, just a glance from you and I'll stop, no matter how sweet is a smile, only yours will conquer my heart. The tears of mine have endless strecks of sadness....

The difference between winning and losing is one second of regret... You said that by stashing our love away we will go even further, there is no need to change what time has done. Maybe fate's will states that we are only supposed to meet, and only after it's gone I'll find the left over pieces of our hapiness.

Even fate object to us meeting, and that was the scroll which had our destinies written on.
I'm not worthy... of you...

Anymore..
