America ain't Heartless..

And just a few weeks ago, we were all going: Kris? Oh...that guy...

The whole season i was watching, and this was one that i never saw coming.





Kris Allen, got crowned as the 'American Idol' for Season 8.

Adam, on the other hand.. was the judge's favorite and expected from many, to win.

Adam Lambert was unlike any other contestant seen on Idol before.
Confident, stylish, theatrical (dramatic at times), great performer and had a great voice. Adam seemed like the most complete package.

As the season went on,he continues giving week after week of good performances (but Ring of Fire was my favorite.. xD).
In fact, his performance of Mad World also received a standing ovation frm Simon, something he usually does only for the winner.

In fact, Kris wasn't even expected to make top13..
Third place Danny Gokey had a great voice, and an inspirational story as well.
Many had expected a Danny-Adam finale.
Maybe now we know where all the Gokey-votes went to for the finals.

Top-3 week!
All i could remember was when Kris took to the stage, singing Kanye West's Heartless.
His acoustic version of the song blew away the judges, the American public and anyone who watched American Idol (myself included).

Then came the long-awaited finals....
it was rather interesting ... with all the oldies coming back like Lionel Richie, Cindy Lauper.. *Steve Martin*.
It was kinda like Night In The Museum 3 =)

hahahha..

Kris Ain't No Sunshine was once again superb,
which made Simon to call the round for Kris even after Adam had done an encore of Mad World.. which i found over-dramatic.
But Adam's strength came finally came true in the end, singing the winner's single, No Boundaries.
It seemed kinda more suited for Adam.


But in the end, Kris won.
Adam might have deserved it (to be honest, in my opinion he did).


But Kris is a very good alternative as well.
I like his originality and his ability to change up the most unlikely of songs into his own version and make it sound damn good. Both were great singers, n both would have had good careers in the future. But in the end, Kris came from behind.. came into his own (especially with Heartless), and like most underdog stories, came out as the champion :D

btw, the finals i supported the both of them =)
but Kris' win was unpredictable.

that was fast, the whoole season's grand finale of AI is finally here.

the most awaited..
but most shocking performance frm kris allen's "heartless" made him cut danny and into the finals! xD

man, i gotta admit... he sang it better than the original :D

adam's there too.. as expected.

it would definitely make history if kris wins tomorrow..

Finally they caught up to it.

Watched it twice already.. and planning for a third ;)

I didn't realize a prequel would be so amazingly done.
Can't wait for the next.

Updating my Life...

Yes, the work has showed up..
and its started to pile up.

Anyway, i know i haven't been able to blog lately. All the times i wished to write a post appeared to be the wrong ones.

Liverpool's title hopes are as good as over. Too many draws!! and terrible defeat to Middlesbrough..
I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. Man-U were always favourites, almost everywhere.. even after getting beaten 4-1 at Old Trafford.
The game in hand afforded them the breathing space they needed..

United would hav to lose twice for Liverpool to have hope. In the end, I don't think that is going to happen.

Oh well, there's always next year..
Man-U will match Liverpool's record of 18 titles this year, but with a couple of good signings, I'll be hoping that Liverpool can stop them from breaking the record next year.

IDOL!! Anoop's gone. He was a pretty good singer. But at least he made it that far.
Two years ago, another underdog, Sanjaya was also eliminated in the top 7.. coincidence much?
But what's done is done... and I'm gonna miss the 'noop brown dawg'.
And it's still Lambert to the max!

There's something srsly unique about that guy, Adam. Though many bloggers and people may call him gay or something... he has originality, unlike the others.
Every week is different, so i look forward to his performances.
He might just win the whole darn thing for all i know.

Man, if I could see the future .. I sure would change it to the way I want it to be.
Today the st. johners of ec went to duty in ssi for some crappy kadet police competition thing.

me, isaac, kevin, tong, syafiq and jeremy.
Going there, clueless of what was gonna happen.
But it struck when it all started. More than two whole hours of under the fireball..
And the best part..


As we stood there.. well we didn't actually just stand there. Practically every 5 minutes there were at least a person fainting or something due to the heat.

Almost 30 ppl man!
never expected that.
Yes, it was tiring.

parts of my school are being teared down each day.
the dewan, the basketball court, the Den!!, the jungles... our B.O.O (Base Of Operation).
all gone.. demolished!
in some "project" the school is doing to make some new so-called high-class 4 million dollar dewan.
haha.
and as said about the noise next to my class, it's a rock concert!
all local artistes... tractors & chainsaws..
some of us just turn our chairs towards the window and stare at the construction/destruction... even the teachers have to stop awhile until the sound is gone.

anyways, Liverpool lost to Chelsea 1-3
i was glad i didnt and had forgot to see the match.
I mean.. the Reds were like so confident on winning.. what happened?
and ManU played a lucky game and struggled to get a last-minute 3-2 win over Villa.
well i guess the tables are turning around already..

hahha... precisely at 3.31pm this afternooon my aunt gave birth and there came another cousin...

btw,
my comp got sent to repair yesterday..
it seems the internet card had apparently got corrupted..
i went to the shop.. the shopguy ask how it happen, cause new computer ..
the me n my dad were like .... "dunno .. it just happened.."
erasing the fact that it got strucked by lightning.
because we weren't sure whether the warranty covered for electric shocks..

it's been long since i updated..
its just that my internet had broke down for a whole week..
and after that i had just no mood for posting..

So ... March went pretty well ..
also fast .. but it was better.

April fool's was weird in my school, because it was the first day of my exam. Everybody was like tense studying and others were like pranking people ... including teachers xD.

exams have FINALLY finished!

and i feel really good cause i know i studied..so whatever results wont make me feel bad..at least not THAT bad..so anyway..now its the time to RELAX!
